Governor also needs to configure it in the spirit?

In case you do not know something or you are not sure, here is the right place for your question.

Hi, someone tells me something that I haven't understood yet

But the governor must be configured in the esc (ie enable it) in my case it is a HV 40A v.4, and then also in the spirit?

thanks

Hi Urgno, thanks for your reply.

So if I use the governor in the fbl unit I should choose option 2 in the photo?(manual esc hv)?
Viceversa, if I use the esc one, don't I have to use the spirit one?

But what are the differences in using one or the other?which benefits? advantages and disadvantages?

Yes, you are right.

For the most pilots internal Governor is more than enough. For more experienced pilots or these that are not satisfied with ESC Governor you can use Spirit Governor which has more data from pilot and model so performance can be better.

Hi Pino,

The gov of your Hobbywing ESC and the Spirit one are more or less the same.
I use the Spirit gov because I can do adjustments through the WiFi module with my radio.

For scale helis with fuselage I prefer the YGE ESC's because they come with a very slow and smooth start up adjustment.

Hi guys

I was very disappointed with Hobbywing, look here at what happened to me with their wifi app,
it is an absurd story I have not received a minimum of help and assistance from Hw

That is very sad. If you will need help with Spirit Governor you can ask.

Hi Tomas
Thanks, I solved by buying another esc, always Hw this time a 60A, for my Oxy3

I always bought an esc hw because otherwise the wifi module hw no longer makes sense, I paid 60 dollars.

this is the last esc hw I buy with them.

The one from 40Amp v4 Platinium, is to be reprogrammed, but Hw has not provided me with any assistance.(as assistance is very bad Hw). basically after the failed update of the esc, it does not initialize, the motor does not emit beeps, it only works as a power supply for fbl.

I made all the telemetry connections,
with the 60 amp v4 platinium and 4649 spektrum, and it all works rpm, etc, only the temperature of the bec and the esc I don't see.

Now I fly with the governor internal esc (elf governor) and I have th flat curves(no 100% throttle because I want to stay in the 3500 rpm range, otherwise I have to change the tail blades, I should use the 47 mm, but I only have the 50 mm ones) (stock)
1) 00-60 60 60 60
2) 70 70 70 70 70
3) 80 80 80 80 80
Pitch curves
123 (mode) linear 0 25 50 75 100
Mode normal and mode 1, I have no negative pitch, only on mode 2.
This is my configuration

Thanks
