Telemetry CC (Talon) RPM limited ?

I am new to telemetry but seem to have a problem that I don't understand. My setup is an Oxy3 qube with the Talon 35 esc and a uSpirit. I'm using a 4650T (SRXL2) "fly-by-telemetry" rx/sat. I have a resistor wired into the ESC-uSpirit to provide telemetry data via a switch on my DX9. I get Volts or RPM.

I was concerned that the 4650T "fly-by-telemetry" might be a problem, but it seems to report data at approximately 250 yards away, which is WAY to far for my old eyes to see to I'm thinking the telemetry being sent to me is a true valueo

As I spool up and toggle the RPM switch, I get rpm's reported that make sense. When I look at the TLM logs, they make sense for spool up. But the HS reported when the Gov is enabled and the HS is in the flying range, seems "fixed" at approximately 3400 (+/- 50).

Today I set my Gov for 3000, 3450, 3900. During the flight, I can easily hear the faster HS, but when I toggle the DX9 to speak the HS, I get the ~3,400.

I have the CC software setup for the 11t pinion and 140T gear. I'm pretty confident the Lynx 4100 motor is 6-pole.

Is there some limit on RPM that I'm not aware of or is my setup not quite correct?

Hello,

Yes, RPM is technically limited by Castle ESC. In other words it can't technically transfer higher RPM data so it might be issue for a smaller helicopters.
The only solution would be to set Gear Ratio and motor poles in the Castle ESC which will send "lower values". Then to set both Spirit values to 1.
