The hood is attached with magnets. The compass shows 90 degrees when the nose is pointing north. The cure was 17 degrees
greeting
Magnet and geolink don’t go together too well

Hello,
they are more than 15cm away. It has no effect on the Konpass. at least when I try it on the table.
thank you for additional data.
The model itself could level horizontally if it will reach min. or max. altitude.
With geolink log you can verify what altitude was measured. It is possible you reached max. altitude.
This has also priority over RTH.
But even if model is being leveled you are able to control it in a certain degree. Similarly as with Position Hold feature.
It is very hard to tell what pressure could develop inside the canopy. We have no experience with such fuselage so it is hard to tell if measurement is precise. It is possible some turbulent pressure changes could be present. But it is very likely you just reached max. altitude.
compass calibration has very high influence for rth performance.
It can make difference such as it will work or it will not work nearly at all or poorly.
It has no impact at Rescue. But Altitude Limit could ne affected little bit.
Thanks for posting back Heli. I never even thought about doing calibration but it is clear that it is required....a quad copter guy would have spotted that right away I suspect:)
Hello
Hello when you fall below the height limit, for me 7m, jump de heli no longer high. it remains at the set height plus minus 1m.
He used to jump really high, so 5m I think.
Occurred suddenly, only changed a few values with the Jeti DS-12 in the Spirit RS.
Cyclical rotation rate, cyclical forward thrust.
Hello
the original error no longer appeared. The reason was originally that the battery was below the geolink. In inverted flight, the battery covered the geolink. I suspect that the GPS connection was interrupted when I flew on my back for several minutes and thereby turned the helicopter into the normal flight position.
Now one more question:
My new Geolink connected to a Spirit RS only records 2 logs. With the old ones with the Spirit Pro it was 8 or 9.
Why is that?
unfortunately also this mounting position is not ideal. It should be mounted ideally at no conductive part. And from other side there should be direct visibility. So upside down positioning system could not work perfectly.
It does not matter what unit is connected. Logs are saved when - there is free space for next log and when you unit is at rest (without a motion) for 4 seconds after landing.
