Hello,
I received my new Spirit GT and the Wifi-Link module yesterday.
Unfortunately, I can't get it to work. I want to use it with my Android tablet.
I have connected the wifi link correctly (see pictures).
When I power the Spirit GT, the LED on the Wifi-Link module turns solid blue. It does not flash. Is this ok?
The Wifi module is not shown in the WLAN display of my tablet (see pictures).
When I start the Spirit app on the tablet and try to establish a connection under "Connection", nothing happens there either. What am I doing wrong?
It would be nice if someone could help me. Thank you very much.

I can't get my WIfi-Link module to work
Hello,
please powerup the unit. Then connect Wifi-Link to the unit. The Status LED should start to flash.
If you wish to connect to the module immediately after powerup, please reconfigure receiver type from PWM to other. This is default settings for a standard receiver which will be not used very likely.

Hello Thomas,
thanks for your help.
With your advice it worked. The module had started flashing.
I can now see the Spirit Wifi link in the Wi-Fi list and connect to it.
However, when I open the Spirit Setting App and use the Connection function to connect to the Spirit, I get an error message and the connection is interrupted.
See picture
Is the difference in software status related to the Spirit GT or to the Wifi Link module? Therefore, do I need to update the software of the Spirit GT or the software of the Wifi Link Module?

Hello Thomas,
I have just checked the software status of my Android Spirit Settings app. This is 3.2.0.
So I uninstalled the app on my tablet and then re-downloaded it from google play store and reinstalled it.
However, I still get 3.2.0 as the software version.
On the Spirit GT, I have the software status 3.3.0.
What should I do now?

Hello,
we are still working on the Update for Android app. For this reason it does not work. But within few days it will be updated too.
Today we will be releasing update for Wifi-Link web interface, so it will be 3.3.0.
Wifi-Link has own interface that can be used instead of Android app. But also it can be used with computer software instead of USB interface.

Hello Thomas,
yes, I tried the web interface today.
I connected the WIFI module to my Windows laptop.
Connecting and calling up the web interface also worked. However, I also got a software version conflict message.
If I understand it correctly, the WIFI module has its own "Spirit Settings" software on its ROM, which is called and executed via the web browser. Do I understand this correctly?
If so, how (with what procedure) is this software updated on the Wifi module?

Hello,
you are right.
It is enough to download Wifi-Link updater to your computer, start it and press Flash button.
Then after few seconds it will be flashed.
