Hello,
i am asking myself 2 questions in preparation of replacing a Spirit 2 by a Spirit GT in my Diabolo 700:
1. the auto rescue feature: the height is defined in meters from: a. Spirit GT initialisation point (in my case: prep.bench (~2-3m higher than starting point) or from b. (motor) starting point / takeoff point?
2. the (great!) new logging: is there a way to test it on bench without RPM signal? logging will not start unless RPM signal is showing "motor running"? (i'd like to play around a bit and configure new telemetry features like max. height alarm and maybe max. speed alarm before switching to GT unit.)
thx a lot
Michael
[SOLVED] Spirit GT 2 questions
Hello,
1. always calculated from take off position
2. RPM signal is not needed. Logging is started when there is a certain level of vibration, which is not present when nothing is rotating.
So you will normally not trigger logging by mistake even during model manipulation.
