Hello heli pilots !
I just built a new Oxy 4 and I took my old Spirit unit from the crashed T-Rex450L.#
This time I mounted upside down. All working well, except the "rescue function". As I hit rescue switch, heli is going down with 60% pitch, not up !!! Almost crashed the new heli :(((
I set pitch at 60% when I hit rescue switch.
I can´t find any setting where to change pitch direction in rescue mode.

Heeeelp !

It is because of the high vibrations, i crashed two helis in the same way, make sure your vibrations are low before trying the rescue.

Are not vibrations. It't doing so from startup. The motor is not on.

Hi

are you sure that Spirit orientation is configured correctly? all channels are working correctly without unnecessary inverting? does the rescue work correctly on the bench or is the problem only in flight? (if so: check for excessive vibrations).

maybe you could post your setup file and a pic of the mounting.... :?:
cheers

Yes, the position is 180 inverted, as on the heli mounted.
Settings correct. The heli flys well. The only one issue ist that the resque goes down not up !!!
When hit the resque switch, you see that the blades goes in negative pitch. At bench or in the air, no difference.
I have this spirit unit from the first beginning of Spirit production... and worked well mounted at top... this is the first time when I mount it under the heli.

Orientation and settings seem ok, but the order of channels in the SW General / Channels tab is non-standard for s.bus. Can't there be chaos in the reverses in the transmitter and subsequently in the SW?

As I said, it flys well. The only issue ist with the resque :(
I have a S-Bus original adapter cable (as I used befor Futaba radio&receivers) connected to an FrSky Archer M+ receiver and FrSky X-Lite Pro sender.
And I changed once the "pitch reverse" and than the other reverse settings ... the same problem. :(
It acts as the unit won't recognize his "upsidedown" position.

i would guess that any reverses in the Tx are not causing this problem: the rescue channel is recognised correctly and the swash fired in wrong direction. so anything causing this is within Spirit unit & setup, but not in the Tx (could be additional. but not causing for rescue).

... what version is the Spirit unit software?
cheers
