Rescue & Stability via "Select by Channel" option.

I'm confused about how to setup this feature on my Gaui X3. I have my Aux3 set to Rescue (Normal) & Aux4 to Stability (Acro) in the General Tab, Channels section.

I have my DX9 setup for the momentary button (Trainer) controlling Aux3. I have my Aux4 linked to my F-Mode 2 switch selection. In the Spirit Windows software the "Enabled" shows as expected when the button or switch are activated.

When I power cycle the Spirit after disconnecting the USB cable, Rescue works as expected. But the tail gyro seems to be working incorrectly.

- When Stability is enabled, the tail is in HOLD mode which is correct.

- When Stability not enabled, the tail is in RATE mode - which is incorrect. This is the non-Stability mode "aka" normal Spirit setup with tail using HOLD.

Have I set this up incorrectly or is there a bug in 3.4.1 ?

Hello,

please attach your settings file.
It is possible you unassigned Gyro Gain channel in the Channels, then set Gyro Gain in the Sensor tab to a negative value.

Here you go.

My DX9 has 60% set on all 4 positions of F-Mode (Hold, 1, 2, 3). This is unchanged from the setup before updating to 3.4.1.

Looking forward to what you find and getting me back on track. Thanks.

I checked my TX and see this.

I changed the Gyro channel Reverse and then bench tested and I have HOLD now on both Normal and Stability modes. This was the whole issue.

It seems a bit weird that my tail has been in HOLD mode with this setting prior to exploring the Stability by Channel mode, but since it's working in the air now, all is good.

Thanks for your comment which got me looking in the correct direction.
