Hello Tomas,
I have a problem with the geolink.
It was still working yesterday. The heli flew well.
Today it can no longer be connected.
The cables are fine.
I did an update again. It worked the second time I turned it on.
After reboot, no connection to geolink again.
The pictures show the problem.
Geolink and Spirit GT have been updated.
How can you help me?
Regards
Gerd

Hello,
It could happen if cable of the GeoLink is damaged or it connectors start to oxidize. Your GeoLink is new so I think it is cable.
Can you examine the cable? We can ship you new.
So even after few restarts the problem remain, correct?

When Geolink has a view of the sky, the blue led will be on.
Then the geolink will also connect.
When I am in the room (no view of the sky), after a few seconds the led lights up blue, green, white...
See video.
When I restart the software, the connection with the Geolink is not possible.
I send 2 small videos as email.

Hello,
that is very interesting. Thank you for details.
Unfortunately I have not received a video.
Could you upload them here please?

You can try to clear the GeoLink flight logs. I hope that this can help.
If not, then I fear there is some problem in the GeoLink firmware together with your module. We will check what could be wrong and let you know. Unfortunately not sooner than on monday.

Hello,
thank you very much. Unfortunately I will need to get links for the videos to post. Without links I can't access the videos.

Hello,
thank you for the videos.
It seems little bit unusual that the LED lights are so bright.
Maybe it is only due to a video but normally they should be around 3 times less bright.
If it is really that bright it seems that GeoLink is fed with a BEC voltage instead of 3.3V that normally comes from the JST connector.
Do you think you can verify there is 3.3V between red and brown wires at the JST connector?
If there is really higher voltage then this can permanently damage the GeoLink itself and will work very unstable.
In theory the issue could develop when something is plugged incorrectly at the JST port. For example telemetry cable that will carry + from the BEC. This can either damage the internal parts of the Spirit units or at least increase the voltage. My question is - was there anytime before connected anything else than GeoLink or a telemetry with cable that was not original (handmade)?
If voltage will be 3.3V then the issue will be rather only in firmware and this specific moduly. This can be resolved quickly I hope.
