parameters of the servo are great, so it should work well I believe.
Thanks Thomas for the validation.

Mathias,

here is a link to the file, i used a site Thomas used for uploading video files in another support thread : https://files.fm/u/9y4dm57vd

And thanks for the video idea, it was a fun project, had to tape the iphone on my hat ..... They are 2 front 360 flips at 2900RPM, i only brought 1 battery and ran out of juice.

Hi Pierre,
thanks for the video !
I don't think the roll rate with elevator is particularly high, it should be faster - I looked in the manual of the Goblin RAW 420 and there are suggestions of pitch range and cyclic range, also for rpm range, I would also set them that way, see the attached excerpt from the manual, thats very important !

Thanks Thomas, Matthias, after a few days of rain I was able to test with a faster RPM of about 3200 and I see a difference in the rate ….

I have a 12,5 degree of pitch but I limited the cyclic to 11, I will try to get 12,5 pitch and 12 cyclic, it probably will help as well.

Can I get the same pitch and cyclic ? Or I should always have a .5 degrees less of cyclic ?

Thanks for the time and the help !

Enjoy the weekend

Hi Pierre,
if you will get the max rotation rate you can set it to 12,5 ° cyclic - if you get then an magenta letter you must reduce it until that goes away - I don't think that 0.5° cyclic is more or less realized at all -
What also is important that you have no binding in any position of the cyclic ring by varying the pitch (max. positive/middle/max negative) - you should test it in any case

Hi Matthias,

I will go to the max cyclic, 0.5 on a 420 is just a bit of wiggle…. thanks for the confirmation.

In your answer, you write « if you get a magenta letter you must reduce it ».. what is the magenta letter? Is it on the spirit display ?Where do you see this ?

Thanks

Hi Pierre,
I mean something like that in the hardcopy:

If you get maghenta letters or values you must change that, that this disapperars - that's what I meant -

Thanks again Matthias, i will stay alert for the magenta on screen, always new things to learn.
