In case you do not know something or you are not sure, here is the right place for your question.

can i use rescue automatic (functions for spirit gtr and gt) and rescue normal?
for the moment I don't use altitude limit because in this heat the fan helps to cool and I bought a new helicopter for 2000 euros I don't want to risk it because even the laser doesn't read anyway (but maybe it depends on the support, I should disassemble the geolink to see if the laser reads right)
for now i use rescue automatic instead of altitude limit
hobbywing 130amp 12s v4
the vibration you can read them from the log in the first post

PS
I understand the work it takes to update functions, to fix everyone's problems and I say thank you for your work.
the others flybarless they tell you the control unit is that Either you're fine or I can't help you.
That's why I say spirit is different.
you listen, you help ecc ecc
Unfortunately the 98% of helicopter pilots they have characters particularity.
in the flybarless unit the variables are many and without having the model but through the forum it's not easy to help.
Try asking align for help and then you will understand as a spirit it is better.
it is not a standard the variables the components are very varied.
I following the guide I've never crashed but I pay close attention to what I do on the helicopter I leave nothing to chance, if I doubt that a washer can give problems I don't fly if I don't fix the problem why in the air you can't go wrong the helicopter it can break in a second

Yes, you can use both functions anytime.

Laser measurement require clear visibility - no obstacle. There is certain angle which it is sensing (around 15°). So when there is obstacle, it is registered. For example even if it is tail support. Fortunately if laser has not good visibility, it will not cause problems when flying or for GeoLink functions like Altitude Limit.

how can I know what angle is he seeing the laser?
if there is a parameter in the logs what is the name of the parameter?

Correct VN = "Virtual net" also Rescue automatic, check your Autorotation Idl, if the GeoLink functions still work's !! This can happen very badly.
Where you mount your GeoLink, take care with cables and Servos ( Magnetic fields) or is it part covered?
How may volt's is your BEC adjusted.

Dr.Fleming wrote:Yes you can setup by channel VN Function and Manual Rescue , also in the background VN, and if
need in case, Manual rescue with a Trainer switch.
when you say VN function you mean Rescue automatic?

you others with geolinks can you check if the blue light is solid all the time?
I'd like to know if it's my problem or a firmware problem.
Why the connectors are ok I use hot glue to avoid movement during vibration.
connected to the pc and check, open your eyes why flashes for only one second and you can ignore it.
I don't even understand why it doesn't log (log geolink)

me for the geolink I created a support with the 3d printer, maybe the laser does not have a 100% unobstructed view.
I set 7.8volts hobbywing 130amp hv has a programmable bec from 5 volts to 8 volts, even with 7.4v it did

I use hot glue for safer connections, magnetic fields I don't think there are.
But my geolink works just that I believe that sometimes I try to activate the altitude limit and he doesn't activate.
but if he lost the connection I had to lose for a few moments the recorded data altitude, lat, long ecc ecc
but the data they are visible throughout the flight, everything is good with me.
However on certain flights only occasionally it does not activate
if I have to make a comparison
if I activate it 10 times
8 times is ok
2 times it does not activate.
could also be my geolink Also if my geolink lost signal for a few moments the parameters had to lose them on the contrary my parameters they are always visible

ok i will try now rescue automatic
in channel i selected f rescue automatic
in stabi is selected selected by channel
and I deactivated altitude limit geolink

however I moved my geolink to read better the laser.
I tried to aim it at the sky (I had it in my hand disassembled)
while pointing to the sky with 100% unobstructed view it marked 3 meters
reading the values in tab geolink settings - info
is normal 3 meters if you point to the sky?

I understood the problem!!!!!!!!
I write more posts because I can attach a maximum of 3 files per post

I made 3 flights
I found a few errors (you have to fly switch off and after turn on and check log, only after a flight exit this error)
GeoLink connection is broken
Power Voltage is low
Received Frame was Corrupted
RPM Sensor data are too noisy

i tried rescue automatic spirit gt/gtr it ALWAYS works is PERFECT

now you can compare these 3 logs that I insert you now
this logs are registered from the jeti ds12 radio in every moment reads geolink data and spirit

FLIGHT THREE LOG JETI

PS
I also have videos of these 3 flights
simple hovering and normal flight because I'm testing the helicopter yet
I want to premise that the spirit says power error but in the logs the voltage is always CONSTANT.
but the serious problem is the geolink
for me these errors are false

maybe this can help this is my esc
i have Platinum PRO V4 -130A-HV (6S-14S)
https://www.hobbywing.com/en/products/info.html?id=70
hobbywing it has a programmable bec from 5v to 8v now i set 7.8
in log jeti you can see tension costant 7.8v
this esc it has a servo plug - + s

one plug only s for rpm sensor
and other plug - +

I used only servo plug - + s
and plug s rpm sensor

other plug - + I haven't used it not to give current from two ports spirit.
hobbywing attaches you a capacitor which I have not entered because nobody uses it.

But geolink had the same behavior even with the trex 500 with another bec.
and then I think the servants they didn't work if it didn't go well and the log tension bec he would have detected it
