[SOLVED] Can’t install settings software 3.7.1

Hi,

Can’t install settings software 3.7.1 because I get the following error:

Hello,

I uninstalled settings software version 3.7.0, then, installed v3.7.1 without issues.

I always installed new versions over the old ones; not anymore.

This error should happen if old software was still running or parts of the files were opened. For this reason new version was unable to replace files for new.

Yes, it is OK. However in version 3.6.X there was added native support for 64bit systems. Then default directory changed from "Program Files (x86)" to "Program Files" on Windows machines. So for transition from these older versions it is better to uninstall it first and install new one, but it is not needed. The biggest problem that could occur is that your old (manually created) shortcut from desktop will not work.
