No, sorry, there is no paper box with serial number available any more and as the module is not recognized by the Spirit it self, I can not provide any serial number. Or can it be read on the bottom of the module? Then I could remove it from the adhesive tape.

All attempts at recovery failed. And yes, I am aware that there are two versions of the Geolink module, but I cannot rule out the possibility that the wrong firmware was unintentionally selected during a recovery attempt. During recovery, the progress bar went exactly three steps and then stopped with an error message.

If trying with Spirit v1 then recovery mode is not too easy to do. If trying with more recent units then it should be easier.

The most important is to confirm Flashing and following dialog window and then immediately as soon as possible to re-plug GeoLink cable.

Success!

I knew that Spirit v1 was more problematic regarding Geolink recovery, so we tried the recovery with a Spirit GT several times after it failed with the spirit v1 unit, however also with no success.
So now I tried it again now with a Spirit II and the first recovery attempt with version 1.40v1 was successful, then the regular update procedure to version 1.41v1 was successful as well!

Can you now help with better weather? :D

Thanks for your assistance!

Alexander
