ELRS chanel configuration

Since ELRS requires the sys port in 3.7.4 (spirit2), how is it possible to test channel assignment, set failsafe, etc, in the spirit application?

I ran into this tonight. I tried using a y-connection but did not work. I just plug the white wire back into rudder port and green wire at ail port to do the update and check settings. When done I moved the white and green wire back to the SYS port.

You can still use the old wiring for initial configuration.
