ELRS chanel configuration
I ran into this tonight. I tried using a y-connection but did not work. I just plug the white wire back into rudder port and green wire at ail port to do the update and check settings. When done I moved the white and green wire back to the SYS port.
You can still use the old wiring for initial configuration.

I tried this and managed to get it mostly working.IFHELI wrote: Thu 08. May 2025 1:06:08 I ran into this tonight. I tried using a y-connection but did not work. One item that did not work was my Tail gain which I had set to a switch. The switch values were not being detected by the configuration software on the PC.
Did you have this problem, and could it be because the rudder port on the Spirit has the rp3-h now plugged into it?
Latest update, I moved the RP3-H green and white leads to the rud and ail ports on the spirit and was able to connect the PC lead to sys. This enabled me to configure the heli via the pc and have the tx working as well.
The channel 5 issue was because elrs defaults this to arm, so I had to change my tail gain to channel 7 from channel 5.
My current issue is that when I disconnect the PC and put the green and white wires back into sys, the spirit does not recognise any input despite their being a tx-rx connection. Leaving these wires in the rud and ail ports of the spirit works, but I can't get any esc telemetry to come through to the tx.
