Forgive my ignorance,ZeXx86 wrote:ELRS does not offer this diagnostic.
Diagnostic works with Lua script when using SPORT, FPORT or FBUS with both OpenTX and EdgeTX.
Each protocol and receiver has own limitations, ELRS have probably the biggest limitations from any available protocol. But it is well marketed so popular these days.
with the Spirit2, I can only get diagnostics (adjusting the minimum and maximum values and counter-sticks) by connecting the USB interface to the PC.
I have the WiFi interface that connects to the SYS port; the app displays all the parameters (even the ones I didn't know), but no stick diagnostics.
I assume that with the USB interface, the refresh rate between Spirit2 and PC is realtime, while in all other cases (WiFi, Bluetooth, Lua, etc.) it's something like this:
- Query and read all values and display them on the radio/app/etc.
- Via Radio/App/etc., I manipulate a value and, with the SAVE command, send all the variables back to Spirit2 with the old and new values.
What I said is my impression.
