Fine-Tuning update with a major tweaks for all Spirit units is available now!
Changes are following:
- Swashplate Stopping:
- Together with the best pilots we implemented solution for even better stopping performance.
- New algorithm has aim to achieve butter smooth and fast stopping from a very high rotation rates.
- Parameter is accessible in the Expert Settings, called Swashplate - Stop Smoothing. It has range from 0 - 9.
- Value 0 has algorithm disabled making stopping identical to previous firmware.
- Value from 1 will achieve crisper and more precise stopping without overshoot.
- High value will result in too smooth stopping.
- Recommended to tune after Elevator Filter parameter.
- Perfect for pilots that want to obtain maximum out of the model while maintaining high Gain, Swashplate Integral, Feed Forward and aggressive rotor blades.
- It makes initial tuning easier, because it is enabled by default (value 1).
- Spirit Settings software:
- Expert window was reworked to make it cleaner, dividing parameters into a dedicated tabs according their purpose.
- Parameter descriptions were extended in a tool tips of the software.
- Scorpion ESC Integration:
- Added support for Scorpion Tribunus III.
- Fixed ESC telemetry not showing when using Wave radio (with firmware 4.0.1).
- ELRS/CRSF Integration:
- Fixed configuration of Elevator Filter.
- Fixed configuration of Rudder Common Gain.
- Spirit RX protocol:
- Corrupted RX frame right after initialization will be not displayed anymore in the Event Log.
- Fixed Main Loop Hang when exiting special configuration modes when using Spirit Pro.
- Swashplate Dampening parameter:
- Parameter is entirely disabled when configuring to 0.
- This could help for a Fast Forward Flight.
- New 3D Master Mode:
- Mode tailored for 3D Master pilots for tuning Spirit to the biggest detail.
- No more compromises.
- More details to be revealed in the following days!
NOTE: New parameter Swashplate - Stop Smoothing is configured to 1 after update from previous versions.
