As Google Play only has version 3.7.0 of the Spirit Settings app (plus it also says this app is not available for my device which is a Samsung Galaxy SM-A566B running Android 16), I initially installed the app directly using the downloaded spirit-4.0.0r3-android.apk file from the Spirit System website. This version of the app has been working OK for the last couple of months.
Today, I noticed that the Android app download file had changed to spirit-4.0.3-android.apk so I downloaded this & installed (updated) the app using this file.
Now I have problems. The main menu page opens OK but after about 10 seconds, the app shuts down. Also in app info, it shows version 4.0.2 (I was expecting to see 4.0.3).
Has anybody else installed or updated the Spirit Settings app using the spirit-4.0.3-android.apk file? If so, does it work OK or do you have problems?
Can somebody from Spirit System support send me a link to download the previous spirit-4.0.0r3-android.apk file so I can at least have a working app until this issue is resolved?
New version of Android Spirit Settings app shutting down

the latest app was released yesterday. This version has very big changes required by new Google SDK.
We are now testing the app with multiple Android devices.
If you can let us know any details about when the problem appear, it can help a lot.

There's not much info I can tell you. The main menu page opens up OK (as per attached screenshot) like normal, but after about 10 seconds, it just shuts down & I get a pop-up box saying "Spirit Settings keeps stopping". My phone's Device Care function also reports that Spirit Settings is crashing frequently.
The app crashes with and without the Spirit-Link BT module connected to my Spirit 3 (power connected).
During the 10 second period it is running, it allowed me to connect via the BT module but then crashed.
Can you please tell me where I can get the previous apk file (spirit-4.0.0r3-android.apk) so I can install a working version of the app?

Hi,
after tests on more Android 16 devices, we found the same problem. It happened right after updating device to the latest Android. We will find the problem tomorrow morning and resolve it quickly.
