Downgrade from 4.02 to 3.7.2
Hello, is there a way to downgrade my GTR from 4.02 to 3.7.2. My very old Logo 20 where performing nicely with 3.7.2 , but when upgrading to 4.02 (not trough 4.01) things goes badly with tail. As I have saved this "successful" config I would like to go back to it. Spirit settings app didn't allow me to go that far in the past !

we can assign old firmware to your unit, but it could be much better to finetune current version 4.0.3. This can get even better performance with 100% certainty.

Hi, You are certainly right But the situation is that I have a huge oscillation on tail that I couldn't stop like far too much gain. I spent a lot of time on various parameters that can influence tail stability, no way... Mechanic side looks OK, phenomenon appears with upgrade to 4.02 and i really not understand what is going on 
.
In the other hand what do you mean by "assign old firmware" ? My idea was to restart from a controlled situation with 3.7.2 to verify all other parameters (mechanics, servos,...).

If you can provide serial number of your unit, we can assign old firmware to your unit so you can see it in the list. Because 3.7.2 is years old, we no longer officially offer it.
Instead if something does not work we can always check your settings. But you are right, it would be nice to verify if it will work with old firmware.
In any case there are bigger changes between these versions and some parameters should be reconfigured as described in ChangeLogs.

Can I ask why you have not tried to use the latest firmware and stopped at this one?
The latest 4.0.3 has many improvements, especially for tail.

Hi, there's no special reason ! It seems to me easier to first go back to a previous firmware that works nicely with my very old logo 20 ! But you are right in the objective for me to understand what is going on with 4.02 nor 4.03. My plan is to restart from 3.7.2 with the saved config I have to verify that it goes well then "jump" to 4.03. If there is still an issue with 3.7.2 the problem is on "my side "! If you have some recommandations for an old flybar heli with "average speed" digital servos, don't hesitate
