Hello to all model builders

My name is Phil and i come from Gemany
I am 21 and for 1 year heli pilot
I want to build the system Spirit on my T-rex 450 Pro V2.
Now to my problem

Unfortunately I can not make connection to the PC, because it recognizes my USB connection as a virtual ballpoint. because after my mouse jumps wildly and sounds on the way everything possible to. Attached is of course everything right. Have already googled a bit, but not really what useful found. Apparently, it must be on the driver. Silicon Labs USB to UART Bridge CP210 driver he shows me in the device manager. lists it to me in the hardware list but as mouse :(.
Have USB 2.0 and 3.0 tried.
am at my wits end and here to help  .

PC System: Win 7 Ultimate 64bit
Did it under win 8 also tested that same game in green.

Yours Greetings from germany

Phil

Hi,

most probably problem is just in COM ID.
Can you send me a screenshot from your Device manager?
You can open COM & LPT and there should be the Silabs Device with some COM.

If you can, open properties and set COM port to the lowest possible.
Then unplug and plug the usb interface again and open the software.

You should see the device with configured COM port in list of available devices in the software.
Then all should work without any issue.

Actually this is not a bug, it is Windows feature that it assigning too high COM ports that are not valid. This can happen in case you are using more similar devices. For example Castle Creations USB link, MSH Brain, etc. But then all will be working fine.

Great,
try to change COM9 to for example COM1 or the lowest possible value.

You can use this step by step image howto: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=399
It is in Czech language, but images could be enough.

I can eventually translate it if you wish.

That with the mouse is gone now.
However, I get no connection materialize.
Heli has power and the spirit, the red LED lights up.
USB is in the sys-contact.
Have here once made a picture, maybe you see so what's wrong.

Please check polarity on the connector in the unit.
Orange wire must be closer to labels on the unit always.

Other things are looking correct.

I am afraid, but it could be a bug in Windows mouse driver if it affects your mouse.

Please disconnect all devices from your PC that are not necessary and try it again.
I am little bit confused. Does the connection to the unit ever worked?

Do you use notebook or it is desktop PC?
