Hello,

this problem is very often caused by mechanical problem in the rotor head. Axial bearings are the main problem when there is a lag.
Please try to disconnect push rods and move with the blade holders by hand.
Do you feel any counter-force?
If so, it is wrong. It should be absolutely smooth. Any settings in the unit will not fix it.

Regarding these servos, they are unfortunately not too good for FBL usage. They have no coreless motor, so they can fail much sooner than other. But it can of course fly very well with them too. But if you want to make a big upgrade, I highly recommend MKS DS95/DS95i or at least DS92A+ servos. The flight characteristics are uncomparable. But the price too :( Very cheap but good upgrade is TGY-306 servo.
But this is just for the future.

Ok... Problem is solved now. I removed the Spirit and installed an Vstabi Mini and everything is working. So i think is was the Spirit.

Thank you for letting us know.

I am sure that the problem can be solved easily, if it can work with other unit.
Did you tried other connection than PPM?
But if you do not want to solve it anymore, let me know.

In the Goblin i'm using an Frsky Delta 8 in S-Fhss Mode. No... i only used it in PPM Mode because the PWM Cabel were a little bit too short.
I want to try the Spirit now on my Nightfly TRex 550. It lost its VStabi to the Goblin
There it will run on an Futaba R3008SB Receiver with Sbus and Align DS615/DS655 Servos. I hope this will work.
But first i have to buy an Inverter Cable.

You can try PWM just temporarily to see the result.

I'm having this same problem on my trex 550. Especially on harder stops, there's a noticeable delay on pitch. The rotor head bearings are fine, this heli barely has any flights on it.

When you can see no delay on the bench, then unfortunately the unit can't affect it in any other way.
The problem can be really just mechanical.

It is enough, if axial bearings are oriented in the wrong way. Then everything will look fine on the ground, but in the air it will be completely delayed.
To swap axial bearing parts is very easily as they are nearly identical and in some cases not marked what is input and output side.
