Hello,
using a ferrite ring is good for BEC voltage so it will not carry a noise to the rest of electronics.
With this it could help to everything on board.
If you are trying it without blades, it could be just caused by too low load. So then the motor is jittering.
It should work also with such noise, so you might try it in the hovering.
In any way ferrite ring is highly recommended even if no governor is used.

Ok so i'm going to put ferrit rings on the bec cable. one ring each cable i guess. do i put them near the spirit or near the bec? 5 windings should be possible with the current cable length.
Yeah i tried the gov without blades. the esc internal gov was very smooth and spirit's gov struggled and stuttered. so i'll add the ferrit ring and test in a hover.
So if i understood you correctly running throttle and rpm cable together should be the root cause for the noise.

Yes, two rings are better. It should be also better if rings are near the unit so that any induced noise on the wire is rejected.
If you observed some kind of stuttering then something else could be bad. This should not occur at all. But it is hard to say without a video.
What value is configured for Governor Response and Holding performance?
Is governor in the ESC turned off?

Yes i deactivated gov in the esc when i enabled spirit's gov.
Gov response/gov holding performance was 5/4
Stuttering was the wrong word sorry, it just regulated too much since the rpm was jumping too hard. Check this animated gif (click it to be animated):
I disabled spirit's gov and enabled esc gov as long as the rpm signal is jumping that much.
I added ferrit rings to the bec cables. I could only do 3 windings instead of 5... could relocate the ubec so that more windings are possible. unfortunately with 3 windings there was no difference at all to the rpm jumping, i don't think 2 windings more will help... What else could be the problem?

Thank you for the details.
In this case, the problem could be caused just by no load.
Spirit Governor has also feedforward so by collective pitch it can influance the RPM (can be higher than requested).
Testing with blades can solve it.
