Update:

I flashed the R161 receiver on my Goblin 500 to F.Port, and also updated the Spirit GT firmware to 3.4.4, while everything worked correctly, including telemetry, I still couldn't get integration.

I then updated the Ethos firmware in my X20S to the latest version, 1.4.5, and now integration works. I haven't done any in-depth testing, but everything I see so far works. There are a few things that seem to be missing, like ESC telemetry setup, Governor setup and such, but by and large, it's mostly there.

I've also updated the first page.

I did some initial tuning with the LUA on a fresh setup and the only thing that I was wishing for was the Governor page. Also, I noticed some dialog boxes don't work correctly, such as the "Ok" button on the popup after you save and on the popup when you exit. Otherwise, no issues.

Yes, that is correct. S.Port sensors will not work with F.Port. This is thing that FrSky has to address somehow.
In any case Spirit 1 will not support F.Port, but I guess it was typo in the message.

Shortly we will add also FBus protocol support which seems to be more compatible with FrSky telemetry sensors.
FBus will be supported on all units except Spirit 1, same as F.Port.

We have FBUS nearly finished so we will start testing this protocol in next week.

I installed the Spirit Settings Software v.3.4.5.r2 provided by Tomas. This version provides access to the special firmware version that supports F.port. So far I updated the Gaui 550 with the Spirit Pro.

It will also require a bit of rewiring, primarily because the Spirit Pro and Spirit 2 do not work with the inverted ports (S.Port or F.Port) that FrSky uses. So you need to use the Spirit integration cable. The extra wiring is required here, because the integration cable does not pass the power through in order to power the receiver, so you need to splice some wires, in order to power the receiver. I basically used AUX2 to provide power to the receiver.

Once everything is connected, and you make the required changes to the receiver to output F.Port, and to the Spirit software (General > Receiver type > FrSky F.Port), then everything should be ready.

Note: if you're doing this modification to an existing model, and you switch to F.Port from S-BUS, you will lose some of your channel mappings and your ESC telemetry. All the other settings will still be there, but you need to click on Channels and re-assign the throttle, banks and whatever other channels you previously assigned. You'll also have to go to the Advanced tab > Telemetry Settings and select your ESC.

Anyway, everything seems to be working, although I can't find any Governor settings, GeoLink Settings, or any of the functions on the Diagnostic tab. But the reality is that everything you would want to, or need to chnage in the filed is there. The other stuff, is still best suited to be done on a PC

I also tested the f.port firmware and it works perfectly for me. I tested without integration cable on spirit2. I use an archerRS and connected it:
