Matt finally answered: empty channel data should still be sent before RF is connected. See

So I'm using the Spektrum AR637T receiver, which got almost the same hardware as AR6610T, but it got also gyro.
The connection per SRXL2 does not work (the Bind/Prg/SRXL2 port). Only the PWM method.
I will try tomorrow to use the CH1 for SRXL2 on AR637T. Maybe the SRXL2 will work...

Hello,
SRXL2 is fully supported from version 3.X.
This week we will be releasing new update. So it is necessary to use this version.

... this is really great news. thx a lot Tomas!
the fix of the failsafe problem with 4651T/Spirit together with the update of the 4651T firmware that should arrive in the next days (fix of RSSI problem on some EU Tx and some other topic) there should be no more problems in fully using SRXL2 hopefully

Thank you Thomas.
We all are looking forward for new Firmware v3.
I wish to you and all of us to have minimum "baby" ilnesses / errors.
It should be a big leap forward for Spirit.
