Spirit System

Version 2.4.0 was released!

It brings many new features and improvements:

• Support for μSpirit unit:
  • Full support of the micro Spirit.
    
  • Compatible with all peripherals.
    
  • Can be used on helicopters of 130 - 250 size.
    
  • Support for ESC/Motor driven rudder.
    
  • New parameter Rudder - Control type to allow selection of the rudder drive.
    
  • NOTE: Will be supported by Spirit Aero firmware.
    
  • IMPORTANT: Older firmwares are not supported!
• Graupner HoTT integration:
  • ESC Telemetry support.
    
  • USB interface can be connected without repowering the unit - once integration cable is plugged off, the status led will be turned off and you can plug in the USB interface.
    
  • Small speed optimization of the integration.
    
  • Support for μSpirit.
• OpenTX Integration:

  • Significantly faster telemetry data refresh rate.

You do not have to change any settings after the update from the previous version 2.3.

Version 2.4.1 was released!

• Graupner HoTT integration:
  • Telemetry connection is active also when the telemetry cable is disconnected - feature introduced in 2.4.0 was replaced.
    
  • USB interface can be connected once you will select the USB connection in the Expert menu (integration).
    
  • Speed optimization was reverted to increase compatibility.
• ESC Telemetry:
  • Added support for the RPM readout from all supported ESCs - when no RPM sensor is connected, readout is taken from the ESC.
    
  • Added support for the Kontronik Jive ESC.

• Rudder stopping performance:
  • Stopping was enhanced to make it more equal when torque is too assymetric.
• Stabilisation mode:
  • Stabilisation algorithm was slightly enhanced to make it more stable when Direction Control Rate - 0 is configured.
• Wifi-Link and Jeti integration:
  • Support for the latest firmware 2.4.1 - update available for download.
