[SOLVED] Rescue is brutal

I've made almost 200 flights with Spirit Pro on Goblin 570 Sport and everything runs smoothly. I also use the rescue (acro) - it works - saved my heli few times, but is very "brutal". Works very rapidly and the heli is shaking wildly after it's applied. Is there any way to "soften" it a bit? Even if it would work slightly slower?

I can try to tweak some parameters, gains, but thing is, the heli runs well besides that. The other things is - I'm not sue which of them are actually used while applying rescue, maybe none?

Hi,

here you can adjust the performance (speed) of rescue. Make sure that collective pitch is within the designed range for the heli (e.g. +13/-13 degrees).

Will try at next flying, but I thought it just sets the pitch, so how much the heli ascents during rescue?

Yes, for turning to horizontal position it use whole configured cycling ring angle. So you can decrease cycling ring limit a bit

I have tested both things, but neither helps. I think it's not related to cyclic ring because I can do multiple rescues one after another and all of them will bring heli to shaking mode. Only first rescue is changing the orientation, all others just change the collective because heli is perfectly upright already - yet they all make it shake.

My feeling is it is the collective pitch change which is too rapid. Is there any parameter limiting how fast this changes?

UPDATE: one more thing. When I do rescue, heli shakes like crazy and keeps doing that as long as I hold rescue. As soon as I release it, shaking stops. So maybe it's rather some different parameters used to control its motion while in rescue mode, and not rapid pitch change?

can you upload your settings here ?

When I hit rescue it does not shake at all. it goes in upright and add pitch to gain height. but no shaking at all. If I am in horizontal mode and hit rescue. Only pitch is being applied and no shaking at all.

Attached are my settings.

I have a lot of free channels, so I could possibly assign some parameters to be adjustable at flight, but I have no idea which to test..

I cannot find any strange parameters. I see that the cyclic gain is at 55%. I have 40% on my goblin. if the gain is to high/low it can get the heli shaking. so maybe try lowering this in steps of 5% and see if there is improvement. if it gets worse then increase it in steps and watch behaviour

Thanks for checking. I will try to make a video of this shaking somehow. I've seen it dozens of times but somehow I'm not sure now how it looks like. But I actually think it rather shakes the tail.

I'll try the video when it stops raining...

Ok, so here's what I got:

I reduced RPM and the collective pitch of the rescue to 40%, otherwise heli was going out of the camera too fast. This actually made one rescue not shake, but all others do shake. I just made 200th flight with this heli today and this problem is from very beginning, very consistent.

No tragedy, it does rescue... but anything I could tune to fix this?

PS. You can scroll to ~1:00 minute to skip the boring part...
