Geolink position + altitude hold

My position hold doesn't seem to work.

XY position holds steady, but the heli moves up down, getting more violent and bigger jumps as time passes.

My vertical gain is set to 10%.

Is it safe to just keep reducing this value to zero?

Hello,

it should hold only XY, not altitude.
For this purpose there is Altitude Hold.

I have position hold and altitude hold on at the same time. (i've edited the title)

Just put the heli on the bench to update to 3.4.1 (thank you so much for RTH at a known altitude!!!!).

My vertical gain is actually set to 20%, and I cannot reduce it any further. The heli is bouncing up and down when pos + alt hold is enabled.

How can I fix this?

Attached is my settings file for my Align 500x that oscillates when pos+alt hold is engaged.

Tail boom.

That's strange , on the boom is the best place ! Checking if there is magnetic fields near-by.
Or Tail Blade producing too much vibration! I installed a brand new SAB Tail, and these
ones have a very bad quality.
By the way, have you touch the windows " Servo Travel correction" ??

I would expect the altitude to be regulated by the onboard baro inside the geolink rather than gps.

If the baro is accurate, vertical position hold should be very steady, like on a drone.

I could try swapping the geolink with my other module I guess.

First check the " Servo Travel correction window" if you touch the values for triming the swashplate,
there is the problem.
Second, if you clued the connector in full on the spirit, and therefore the Baro not get air inside,
than you are in trouble. 8-)
