How to make rescue less aggressive?

Hi guys,
I have spirit on my goblin 700 (original v1) and my rescue set to normal with 70% collective. I got a boom strike (the blade took a good chunk of paint from the boom) yesterday when testing the rescue function from inverted hover position. Is there a way to make rescue flip less aggressive?

Hi,

wow, that sounds bad.

You can make it less agressive by decreasing Aileron/Elevator range and decreasing Collective pitch for the rescue, in your case aileron/elevator is probably too big. What angle can you achieve on the full stick deflection?

Hi Tomas,
I have 12° on cyclic. I set it like I usually set on Vbar or beastx, set for max throw I can get without binding on full collective.

I will try to reduce it, but I'm a bit scare to test it... :(

Well, you can decrease Collective pitch for the rescue first to for example 40%. If you have small camera, I recommend to record tail boom during the activation.
Then you will see if it is too close or you can increase.

Would this not be a problem if you were using Rescue (Acro) instead of using Rescue (Normal) from inverted? The forces to level and climb out would be much less.
