yes, it is possible. But it is not needed unless you try to flash some wrong firmware to it.
What does it mean "crash internally"?

It suddenly stop working after 10 to 40s in flight and led went out.

Hello,

reflashing firmware with the same version will not help unfortunately.
But we found the issue and I believe we have also solution.

Anybody that want to test new GeoLink firmware please let me know.

I'm also using the Geolink V2. I used one on a TDR without any problem. It recoreded speed until the end of the flight.
See the graph.
