Hi,

I wonder if it was possible to use a tail ESC instead of a tail servo.
If so, what should I take care of?

Regards,
Alexander

What do you mean by Tail ESC?

Do you want to connect ESC to the CH4 port? What is the reason for this?

Yes, that is what I was thinking about.
I have a small heli with a tail-motor driven by a separate ESC.

Yes, it is possible. But the tuning will be little bit different than with normal servo.

Thank you for the information!

I am sure there will be differences compared to a servo, a motor is much slower in any reaction, there are not really rudder endpoints...
Should I use slowest frequency for the ESC?

60 Hz should be fine.

You can use rudder endpoints to set throttle range for the ESC.
