do I understand this right ?? , normal mode works as it did but with a adjustable timer ,that limits climbs out to time limit then switches off bailout. ?
acro mode will level to either way up which ever is quickest climb out to set time limit and if its inverted flip to skids down when time limit reached ?
not that I can find a timer in acro rescue mode , why does it not also have timer

No.
Normal mode will level to inverted if it's faster, climb up for the set time, then flip skids down and keep climbing until turned off.
Normal mode when leveling to normal and Acro mode are both unchanged.

Any one know the delay for the flip when in normal mode? I have rescue set to acro but want to try the normal rescue + flip. I've got it on a momentary switch so I'm curious to know how long I need to hold it down.

thanks ,so there is no point in having acro mode rescue now then if normal mode corrects your inverted mistakes

just push and hold until it flips, the time until it flips is what you set it to.
