Hi there, I downloaded an update for my Spirit Pro firmware and received the file (spirit-fw-2.4.1.man). This wasn't recognised by the newly updated Setting Software so now my T-Rex 550 doesn't work until such time as I get the correct file format (.4df).

Use Google Chrome or Firefox for downloading instead of Internet explorer. Or rename downloaded file.

Hi,
the only thing you have to do is to rename the file "spirit-fw-2.4.1.man" to "spirit-fw-2.4.1.4df". Then it will work.
Make sure that you are using Spirit Settings 2.4.1 and that you are in the Update tab.

Please make sure that the extension you are changing is visible in the OS. By default extensions are invisible.
So the result is probably: spirit-fw-2.4.1.4df.man which is wrong too.
Make sure that the extensions are visible in your OS (can be configured in the File Manager).
Alternatively use other web browser (not Explorer or Edge), all other web browsers will work well and the file will be downloaded correctly immediately.
There can't be other problem - if the file has really 4df extension, then it must be visible in the Spirit Settings/Update tab (not Backup).
If I am correct, the problem is that you can't see the file, right?

Hi there! Apologies for the delay............lots to do.
I resolved the issue by using Chrome for the download. Renaming the .man file from the Edge/Internet Explorer didn't work and every download I tried was designated .man
Thanks for the help on this.
