I'd like to ask for some advice please, basically I have converted an OMP M2 to use a uSpirit with two seperate ESC's for main and tail. Setup has gone well and I have gone through the various tail motor settings and all is well.
However when I go to test fly the model, while it does fly and I have control, the disk is wobbling really fast almost as if the cyclic gain dial has absolutely no effect on the cyclic gain at all.
I have tried with it all the way down at 20% and it still does it, I've even gone back up to 60% and it's still there. Apart from changing the rotor RPM which then changes the frequency of the wobble, nothing helps.
Browsing through this forum I came across others with a similar toilet-bowl effect and one idea was to make sure the compensation were all set the right way and I have gone through this about 6 times now with no change on the problem I am seeing.
Not new to helicopters and FBL, but new to Spirit so was originally convinced i was missing something to start with, but now feeling it's a software issue more than a setup one.
Any help will be appreciated.

That is really neat! I was wondering about converting my M2 to use Spirit but have been too busy lately to even try...
I know you are not new to heli’s but mechanical setup here is going to be absolute key to get a stable little heli. In other words don’t use the sliders in the setup pages to level the swash or zero blades. Keep those values as close to 0 as possible.
I would also just start with the default values and not jump the cyclic gain up yet. It should fly fairly nimble with default values if my guess is correct.
Maybe share the setup values?

Thanks for coming in and also for the compliment on the layout, I am quite pleased with how it's turned out and will no doubt make subtle changes as I go along. Have another Little Bee ESC coming in with the older BLheli for the main motor, as the current one is BLheli_32 which I cannot flash the MAIN firmware to.
Yes fully agree, the mechanical setup can make of break a machine and being old school I am always on to make sure my bench setup is perfect. The only error I did make origianlly was reverting to the Vbar way of using sub trim to centre the sliders in the software, I soon found this was wrong and just concentrated on travel limit values and let the unit determine the right centre positions.
I thought this might be the cause of my problem, but it's still remained.
I just realised it is your videos I have then come across and watched in my efforts to trouble shoot this myself.
Let me take some photos of the settings tabs and post them.

Attached please find a setting for reference. Had similar problems, but Tomas supported to get my direct drive heli solid rock in the air
Please do not load to your uSpirit, but use the parameters as reference - open Spirit SW in Demo mode and check/compare my parameters.

You could try lowering your 6 degree value, which is like an overall gain. Remove the tail blade before entering this setting though.

That's a good idea and something I may have to try if this current idea I am following doesn't.
Last night, having played around for most of the day, I saw that the tail motor wouldn't start on throttle stick movement but on aileron input which I thought was strange seeing as the manual states that once the throttle channel is mapped it should work. This got me thinking about the Sbus signals going from my Jumper R1F to the uSpirit and could there be a problem here.
So I started to look into making a new model memory and having a go setting the uSpirit up with a different channel layout, but when the TX went flat, I went inside for the night and carried on looking around here and stumbled upon this topic;

So I am just setting up a completely new model memory following what I am seeing here and will look to test fly shortly with any luck. As a long time JR, Futaba, Spektrum etc user OpenTX is still very alien to me, but I'm getting there with it.
I have this strange feeling this has been my problem all along, but what I can't answer yet is if this is the case would it effect the cyclic gain and stop it working correctly? As the model did hover without any major fuss, it's just when the skids left the ground the disk started to wobble very badly as if the cyclic gain was simply too high. These wobbles changed frequency with head speed, so that ruled out the damper wobbles.
