Hi all
the tail of my heli is constantly wagging ( in hover ) with different RPM's 1'400, 1'500, 1'600, 1'700, 1'800 , 1'900 and 2'000. The higher the RPM the higher the frequency of the wagging.
When I speed up for a loop there is a wimmering noise clearly hearable ( the tail servo is constantly wagging )
Before I used a different brand ( no SPIRIT ) on this heli, without this problem.
Installed SPIRIT GTR with GeoLink v2 FW 4.0.0 ...
Does anybody noticed similar problems ?
Thanks

Thank you for sharing.
From the settings it seems you have not selected Goblin preset, so there are default values for small helicopters.
These parameters should change:
Advanced - Rudder Delay to: 0
Advanced - Pirouette Consistency to: 190
Advanced - Elevator Filter to 3

Hi Thomas
in the meantime the changes you wrote are stored to the FBL.
Made about 30 flights ( range 155 up to 190 in steps of 5 ) ,
without any success - the tail is still wagging; the higher the
RPM's the higher the frequency of the wagging...
It seems that even decreasing the value of the gain for the tail
has no effect to the wagging. Increased and decreased the
gain til the tail didn't hold pos any more...
Sorry for the bad news, do you recommend other changes ?
Best Regards

Hi,
can you confirm that Rudder Delay was configured to 0? This is very important step.
Is supplied double sided tape used? (one layer)
Is the unit mounting rigid so that unit can't bounce at the model in a yaw direction?
Can you check no cable/connector is touching the unit's shell?
